Rangers defender Leon King has joined Queen’s Park on an emergency loan deal.
The 21-year-old defender finds himself right down the Ibrox pecking order, and his chances of featuring will be non existent when John Souttar and Leon Balogun return from injury.
That’s why Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson has given the green light for the centre-back to join the Scottish Championship side for regular minutes.
A Rangers statement at 8pm on Friday said: “We can confirm Leon King will join @queensparkfc on-loan until the end of the season. Good luck, Leon.”
Meanwhile, Queen's Park commented: "The club are delighted to announce the loan signing of Leon King from Rangers until the end of the season. Welcome to The Spiders, Leon."
