Leo Varadkar called a 'f**king w**ker' while on jog in Dublin city centre in viral TikTok

Tanaiste Leo Varadkar was called a "f**king w**ker" by men in a car while out on a jog in Dublin city centre.

A video of the incident was posted on TikTok before it was removed, but it has since subsequently gone viral on Twitter.

The Fine Gael leader was on a jog on Usher's Quay when a number of men in a car began jeering at him.

A voice is heard saying, "here Leo, you're a p***k."

The Tanaiste responded, "have a good day", before the same voice from the car says, "you f**king w****r."

A number of people were heard laughing from the car at the end of the video.

It isn't the first time Leo Varadkar has been accosted in public after a drink was thrown over him in a park.

That incident was also recorded and posted online. In the video, a young woman was seen approaching Mr Varadkar before throwing a smoothie over him.

The Tanaiste joked that he thought the girl was Avril Lavigne.

He said at the time: “I was in Merrion Square earlier on just filming a video to explain to the people of Dublin some of the decisions that were made today.

“When I saw her coming towards me I actually thought she was Avril Lavigne at first because she had the skateboard and everything - but she wasn’t.

“She also had a smoothie, which ended up all over my face and halfway down my suit, but I had a spare suit so I just got on with the day’s work."
