Leny Yoro Clarifies Misleading Rumours About Manchester United Transfer

Man Utd target Leny Yoro responds to 'psycho' transfer statement

Manchester United transfer target Leny Yoro has recently addressed a false rumor circulating on social media regarding his potential move to the club. Reports suggest that Manchester United has a tentative agreement to acquire Yoro, an 18-year-old center-back from Ligue 1 side Lille, for a reported fee of around €50m, despite having just one year left on his current contract.

A fake Twitter account impersonating Yoro posted a tweet stating, 'I don't want you @ManUtd. Leave me alone.' However, Yoro clarified that this was a fake account and labeled the situation as 'psycho,' urging followers to report the impersonating account.

Yoro joined Lille's academy in 2017 and has steadily progressed through the ranks. He made his professional debut in January 2022 and later became the second youngest player in the club's history. Throughout the 2023/24 season, Yoro established himself as a regular starter, making notable contributions such as scoring his first goal for Lille in a European competition and netting his first league goal in a match against Rennes.

During the 2023/24 season, Yoro featured in 44 matches across various competitions, showcasing his potential and talent on the field. His development and performances have garnered attention from top clubs like Manchester United, highlighting his promising future in the world of football.
