Glamping is the perfect idea for couples or families who want to head away for a night of relaxation and quiet time.
I headed to Further Space's Leitrim Lodge glamping pods located in Co Down which boast beautiful views of the Mourne Mountains. They're set at the foot of Rocky Mountain.
The self check-in pods are located a short drive from Slieve Donard, Slieve Binnian, Silent Valley Reservoir, Tullymore Forest Park, Spelga Dam and more.

I headed to Tullymore Forest Park for a relaxing walk which is less than a 20 minute drive away.
The pods have a double bed and bunkbeds that are suitable for two kids along with an ensuite shower room, electricity and a private fire pit. The pods also have a mini fridge along with tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast, campfire kits and BBQ kits can be ordered when booking, or you can pop to Hilltown, Newcastle and Castlewellan for a nice dinner.
The pods have a cosy sofa which you later set-up as a spacious double bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt like hotel-standard.
The glamping pod didn't get cold once - it stayed cosy all night, and was super clean and spacious.
With no wifi on site, it's perfect for those wanting to unwind and take a night away from reality without any distractions.
Nature lovers can head on picturesque forest trails and mountain paths including the Game of Thrones filming location on old Batts Estate.
