Leinster Rugby have apologised after the controversial Wolfe Tones song 'Celtic Symphony' was played at the RDS after the team's 41-12 win over Connacht in the United Rugby Championship tonight.
The song, which features the lyrics 'Ooh Ah, Up the Ra!', was played while the team completed a lap of honour around the stadium after the game. It was cut soon after the chorus began.
Leinster Rugby has since apologised for the song being played. A spokesperson said tonight: "A song was played over the PA at the RDS Arena this evening that shouldn't have been played.
