Leinster Fleadh seeks volunteers ahead of its run in Grangegorman

The organisers of Leinster Fleadh are on the look out for volunteers ahead of its week long festivities in Dublin 7.

The Leinster Fleadh will be hosted on the grounds of TU Dublin Grangegorman from the 2 to 9 July. The event promises to showcase the best of Irish trad music in the heart of Dublin 7, with numerous performances planned.

Competitions will take place between Leinster musicians from the 7 until the 9 of July. Organisers say that people are already working hard behind the scenes to make the fleadh a reality this summer.

People with an interest in Irish music are encouraged to sign up for the volunteer drive. Help is needed in areas such as crowd management, stewarding, ticket sales and information stalls.

No previous experience at events is necessary but all candidates will be asked to attend a mandatory training session in advance of the fleadh. People who want to volunteer can fill out a contact form via Leinster Fleadh's website.
