Days after Leighton Meester launched her latest series Good Cop/Bad Cop, the Gossip Girl alum has been confirmed to appear alongside her husband, Adam Brody, in season two of Netflix’s smash hit comedy Nobody Wants This.
According to Variety, Meester and another newcomer, Miles Fowler, will appear in the upcoming season of the beloved season in guest roles.
In case you’ve missed it, Nobody Wants This is a romantic comedy series about an outspoken podcast host named Joanne (Kristen Bell) and a hot rabbi named Noah (Adam Brody). Although their lives and personalities couldn’t be more different, they find their way together.
Despite being kind of perfect for each other, it seems like no one else in their lives really wants their romance to stick — and it makes for incredibly entertaining television.
In season two, Meester is reportedly playing a character named Abby who is described as “Joanne’s middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer”.
Personally, I think it’s the perfect role for her. After all, if my girl Blair Waldorf didn’t grow up to become a CEO or a high-powered lawyer, it wouldn’t surprise me if she ended up being an all-powerful mommy blogger with an incredibly engaged social media following.
Fowler is set to play Lenny, “Noah’s Matza Ballers teammate who gets set up with Morgan (Justine Lupe)”.

Meester’s appearance on Nobody Wants This comes after Brody made a cameo in her latest series, Good Cop/Bad Cop, absolutely delighting audiences to see the usually private couple unite on screen.
While we don’t have a date locked in for season two of Nobody Wants This, I’m already hyped to see the couple unite on screen yet again.
