Liverpool player Leighton Clarkson has sent a classy message to Aberdeen after returning from his memorable loan spell north of the border this campaign.
Clarkson, 21, played 29 games in the Scottish Premiership alone - contributing with four goals and seven assists - as the Dons finished third position behind Celtic and Rangers. European group stage qualification awaits if Celtic defeat Inverness in the Scottish Cup showpiece next month.
Aberdeen and Clarkson will, naturally, be cheering for the Glasgow giants in that one. However, either way, they do have an exciting adventure to look forward to.

After playing his final game for Aberdeen on loan - incidentally against Celtic on Saturday afternoon - Clarkson took to social media to wave goodbye to the Scottish outfit. He also wished them well on their proposed European adventure - which has been rubber-stamped with one or two details to iron out.
In a two-part message, the Liverpool graduate said: "A big thank you to everyone involved at Aberdeen for making this season an unforgettable one - from their staff who helped me so much, to the players who welcomed me from day one and the fans who have gave me nothing but respect and appreciation and memories that will stay with me forever. Last thing... Enjoy the European tour."
Including his Scottish Premiership games, Clarkson totted-up 38 appearances for Aberdeen this season.
