Leigh Wood dismissed Michael Conlan's cheeky attempts to present him with a signed glove during Thursday's press conference in Belfast.
The pair came face to face once again and ramped up the verbals ahead of their world title showdown on March 12.
Conlan's camp recently shared an image of a tweet allegedly posted by Wood back in 2019 where the WBA world featherweight champion asked where he could get a "signed pair of Michael Conlan gloves".
The Belfast boxer duly obliged on Thursday, kicking off their press conference at the Europa Hotel by handing Wood a signed memento.
As the home crowd roared in Conlan's favour, Wood said: "You're as predictable as your boxing."
He added: "I asked for a glove so I could see how big they are and realise why you're not stopping those bantamweights."
And as Matchroom promoter kicked off the media event, Wood tossed the glove onto the floor.
Conlan urged the crowd to take the glove, adding: "Someone go and get it. It's from Leigh Wood. You can thank him."
Wood will make the first defence of his WBA belt against Conlan at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on March 12.
Over 7,000 tickets have been sold already for huge domestic clash which will see unbeaten Conlan attempt to win his first world title.
