Leigh-Anne Pinnock gets emotional as she hits music studio ahead of first solo track

After being a part of Little Mix for over a decade, Leigh-Anne Pinnock is finally embarking on her solo career - and she's finding the experience rather emotional.

The star, 31, hit the recording studio on Wednesday to kick start her solo career.

The Shout Out To My Ex singer has signed a deal with Warner Records and she has already started work on her new music - much to the delight of her adoring fans.

Leigh-Anne took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a number of exciting snaps from her time in the studio and she also shared a cryptic caption suggesting that she has been going through something difficult.

Alongside a snap of the singer posing up a storm in the studio, she penned: "It's been a weird couple of weeks, getting used to certain life changes. Emotions are flying, but I'm excited for the year ahead. We've been cooking up a storm."

Leigh-Anne signed a solo deal with Warner Records last February after her band, Little Mix, announced their hiatus.

She joined the record label which is also home to the superstars including Dua Lipa, and Ed Sheeran.

It comes after Leigh-Anne ensured that she cemented a lucrative future by getting into property.

Leigh-Anne forked out nearly £1 million on an old bicycle factory and plans to transform it into 48 flats.

She and footballer fiancé Andre Gray, both 31, could net millions in the process.

They hope their G&A Organisations Ltd property firm will really take off with the project at Wolverhampton’s old Eagle Works.

The pair have been laying foundations for their business for months by building a holiday let in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, destined for Airbnb, and plotting a luxury detached home in the Midlands.

Leigh-Anne is not the only Little Mixer to think putting their money into property is as safe as houses.

Last year Perrie Edwards, 29, partner of Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, started a property firm. The band, including bandmate Jade Thirwall, 30, announced they were taking a break after their Confetti tour.

“We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay,” they reassured fans. “We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future.”

This summer Leigh-Anne moved part-time to Greece in August when Andre signed a four-year contract with local team, Aris FC. He previously played for Watford.

The couple welcomed twins in August 2021 but hot property Leigh-Anne is plotting a solo comeback, along with her building business.
