Watch Leicester Vs Crystal Palace highlights as two second-half goals secured maximum points for Palace and left Leicester in the bottom three.
A composed performance from Palace saw Leicester suffer their sixth Premier League defeat on the bounce.
Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring after the break with the visitors’ first effort on target after a poor first half.
He raced onto the ball after Ismaila Sarr broke forward, before taking it around the keeper for an easy finish.
The Frenchman’s sixth league goal of the campaign sent Palace on their way to victory and piled more pressure on Foxes boss Ruud van Nistelroy.
Victory was then sealed by England defender Marc Guehi. His excellent volley came from a wide free-kick and ensured there would be no late scare for Palace.
Leicester had the better of things before the break, but could not fashion any real chances – bar Jamie Vardy missing while one-on-one.
Vardy then missed a chance to equalise after the Foxes went behind before Boubakary Soumare hit the bar.
Watch: Leicester Vs Crystal Palace Highlights
Another defeat means Leicester City remain 19th in the Premier League table, and look on course for an immediate relegation back to the Championship.
Their last league win was on 3 December, when they beat West Ham 3-1 at home. They have since taken just one point from seven games and would likely be bottom were it not for Southampton propping up the table.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, move up to 14th after leapfrogging Manchester United. The Eagles look to have shaken off early relegation worries and seem destined for another mid-table finish.
They are unbeaten in five in all competitions, last losing 5-1 at home to Arsenal on 21 December, just days after being beaten by the Gunners in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.
Next up, Palace travel across London to West Ham, while Leicester host Fulham.
