The club have only charged matchgoers £5 for their tickets today, with all the money raised going towards assorted favourite charities of the late Mr Hemmings. Hemmings was a keen racing enthusiast and owner, and the corner flags at Deepdale today are in the green and yellow of his famous racing silks. Sterling sparked speculation about his future by saying he would be “open” to a move if it meant more game time. John Stones also features for the first time this season while Zack Steffen takes over in goal from Ederson, who along with Gabriel Jesus is unavailable after a late return from international duty with Brazil. Burnley make three changes as Erik Pieters, Jack Cork and Maxwel Cornet came in for Charlie Taylor, Aaron Lennon and Matej Vydra.
