Former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is the best option as manager for Leicester City if they are to win their relegation battle and avoid falling out of the Premier League. That's the message from pundit and former player Ally McCoist, who believes the Foxes should turn to the ex-Leeds boss to win a relegation fight which features the Whites.
Leicester sacked Brendan Rodgers at the weekend and saw their plight worsen when beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa on Tuesday night, as Leeds were pulling away from trouble with their own 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
Speaking on TalkSPORT on Wednesday, McCoist has suggested that the new manager bounce which would accompany an appointment of somebody of Bielsa's stature and ability, could make all the difference for the Foxes in their basement battle.

Asked which manager would give Leicester the best chance of staying up, McCoist said; “Bielsa! I just think the whole place would get a massive lift. I’m not sure he’d be the best long-term.
“But the question is, which available manager would give Leicester the best chance of staying up? I think the whole place would get a boost with somebody like Bielsa.”
The Leeds legend has not returned to work since his Elland Road departure, but has been linked with a host of positions, including the Uruguay job of late.
