Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., is currently drafting legislation to protect the FBI's Jeffrey Epstein files amid concerns of potential document destruction. Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed the government possesses disturbing information on the late convicted pedophile, hinting at possible imminent document releases.
Ogles expressed readiness to assist in the public release of Epstein's client list and related information, urging against any obstacles. In response to reports of FBI agents allegedly attempting to destroy crucial records, Ogles is working on the Preventing Epstein Documentation Obliteration Act (PEDO Act) to safeguard all files under Bondi's jurisdiction.

While not naming specific agents, Ogles joins other Republican lawmakers in addressing the Epstein files. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., leads a new task force dedicated to declassification efforts, following whistleblower claims of document destruction within the FBI.
Ogles emphasized the importance of radical transparency in matters affecting the justice system, highlighting the need for integrity and accountability in handling sensitive information.
