Nile Rodgers and Chic have announced a return to Glasgow for a major show.
The iconic band will perform at the Barrowland Ballroom on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Tickets for the gig will go on sale on Friday, February 14, at 10am, with a pre-sale starting on Wednesday, February 12, at 10am.
(Image: Newsquest) Nile Rodgers, known for his multiple Grammy-winning compositions, production work, and guitar performances, co-founded Chic and is the chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
He is renowned for creating chart-toppers like Le Freak, the biggest-selling single in Atlantic Records' history, and Good Times, which helped to spark the advent of hip-hop.
Rodgers's influence spans various music styles and generations, earning him spots in both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
He is currently the first-ever chief creative adviser for Abbey Road Studios, hosts Apple Music 1’s Deep Hidden Meaning Radio and has been the co-founder and chairman of the We Are Family Foundation since 2002.
Rodgers's work with the Chic Organisation and his productions for artists such as David Bowie, Diana Ross, and Madonna have resulted in the sale of over 500 million albums and 75m singles worldwide.
