During the protest, participants were heard chanting 'from the river to the sea,' a slogan that has been associated with antisemitic sentiments and condemned by the American Jewish Committee as a rallying cry for terrorist groups and their supporters.
As the DNC event approached, additional anti-Israel demonstrators joined the protest outside the convention center. Authorities are bracing for a potentially significant turnout, with expectations of up to 100,000 protestors throughout the week.
