Rate My Takeaway star Danny Malin decided to do something special for Christmas this year.
Danny Malin, the YouTube star famous for rating restaurants and takeaways surprised fans this Christmas by uploading a video to his channel of going to his mum and dads for Christmas dinner.
The day marked the first Christmas that his new fiance, Sophie, would join his family for dinner. Danny announced his engagement to Sophie Mei Lan, more than two years after the death of his girlfriend Carrie Taylor.
The couple announced that they are engaged on social media with Sophie, who is a journalist, described him as “the love of my life.”
Danny uploaded the video of his Christmas dinner three days after Christmas (December 28). He said: "So today's episode I thought what can I do what can I do, lets do something special and lets show you what I did for my Christmas dinner.
"I were round at my mams, we had a bit of a blast there were my mam, my dad, me, kids and Sophie and what a meal we had. Lets get this party going."
Danny showed fans round his mums kitchen and dining room where the table was set ready for their Christmas dinner, of course complete with crackers. He showed fans the starters, that were rated 10/10 by the family, and their Christmas accessories from festive jumpers and ties to Christmas lights.
The Christmas dinner came out with all the trimmings, Danny's mam had put green flags in the food to show Sophie which were vegan. Danny said: "You're pulling all the stops out. My mums also put Sophie's vegan gravy inside a cow."
Danny was asked how his Christmas dinner was, he said: "Its nice, my mam's cooked it so it's bang on, best in world.
He added: "As always I'm absolutely stuffed. I can't lie to you I tried the vegan turkey and it weren't for me but the vegan gravy was nice."
Sophie was on plate two because it was 'so nice'. After a little break they finished the meal with dessert with a choice of Christmas pudding and Grinch cake which was made by one of Danny's friends. He ranked the dinner 10/10 all in all.
