Leeds will get off to a wet start on Thursday morning with some rain expected between 3am and 4am. The threat of further rain will loom over the city until 7am when the sun rises.
The day will largely be cloudy and overcast throughout. Between 8am and 11am there will be darker clouds which will impact visibility.
The dark clouds will be a feature in the afternoon as well, extending into the evening too. There is a small chance of some drizzle.

Wind gusts will peak at 38mph in the afternoon. This will make it feel colder than it really is.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Some brighter spells are possible further east, while The Pennines may see more in the way of rain and drizzle.
"Remaining quite breezy. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
