After some bright spells of sunshine over the weekend, some cloud and periods or rain are expected to hit Leeds on Monday.
Leeds can expect a cloudy day with some periods of rain, predicts the Met Office, as we approach the end of August. The Met Office said: "A cloudy day with periods of rain, which will be persistent and heavy at times before clearing during the evening.

The city will wake to another cloudy morning from 6am until 11am, where Leeds can expect some rain with light showers from midday. Showers are expected to turn heavier at 2pm until 4pm where the Met Office predicts it will ease off again. From 6pm it is expected to be overcast until sunset at 8.21pm.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Tuesday, occasional showers and some bright or sunny spells. A brief period of rain on Wednesday, clearing to allow further sunny spells later Wednesday and through Thursday.
