Leeds is set for a gruelling day which starts off with early morning widespread fog which will reduce visibility significantly and make driving tedious and dangerous.
Early morning mist around 6am will develop into fog, which will persist till after 10am, making for very uncomfortable school runs and work travel. The fog should clear by 11am but persistent drizzle will keep visibility quite low.
Drizzle will intensify by noon and develop into heavy rains. Dark clouds will be the hallmark of the afternoon with widespread rain.
