Leeds weather forecast as temperature to drop on Wednesday

The temperature is set to drop again tomorrow in Leeds as the heatwave ends and rain is expected overnight.

Wednesday's weather will start off with rain overnight, according to the Met Office, and this is expected to last until around 6am although the chance of rain will decrease throughout the morning. The temperature at 6am will be around 14 degrees.

This will then increase throughout the morning to reach 18 degrees Celsius at midday. The temperature will continue to increase through the afternoon until it reaches 20 degrees at 4pm.

It will then begin to drop. reaching 19 degrees by 7pm and 10 degrees by 10p. It is expected to be cloudy all day.

The Met Office said: "Cloudy with the patchy rain at first, clearing most parts southwards but perhaps slower to improve in coastal districts. Otherwise becoming drier later, with brighter intervals developing. Temperatures nearer normal. Maximum temperature 20 °C."

Towards the end of the week the temperature is expected to increase before dropping again in Leeds with temperatures staying in the low 20s.
