Leeds United vs Barnsley: Live stream details, TV info and early team news

Leeds United will be looking to continue their excellent start to the season when they host Barnsley in the Carabao Cup second round on Wednesday. The Whites are set to face their first Yorkshire derby in almost 18 months when they host the League One side at Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch’s side have picked up seven points from their opening three Premier League matches and will hope to keep the momentum going in the cup. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Leeds’ clash with Barnsley has not been chosen for TV broadcast, with Newcastle United’s trip to Tranmere Rovers instead set to be shown on Sky Sports. Early team news?

Leeds will be without Luke Ayling, Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas for the match with Barnsley. Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford missed the game against Chelsea at the weekend and at this stage it is unclear whether they will be risked.

Marsch could make changes for the game, with Kristoffer Klaesson, Cody Drameh, Leo Hjelde, Mateusz Klich, Adam Forshaw, Crysencio Summerville, Sam Greenwood, Luis Sinisterra and Joe Gelhardt pushing for their first starts of the season.
