Wilfried Gnonto will make another appearance for Leeds United U21s this morning as the Whites take on Middlesbrough at Rockliffe. The Whites suffered their first defeat of the season last time out at Bolton Wanderers and they’ll be keen to bounce back to winning ways this afternoon to hammer home their dominant position at the top of the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
Gnonto is still waiting to make his first team debut for Leeds after arriving at Elland Road from FC Zurich over the summer transfer window. However, this will be his fourth outing under Skubala and he’ll be keen to impress as he looks to work his way into the first-team picture.
The Italy international’s appearance at Middlesbrough means he is highly unlikely to feature against Fulham on Sunday at Elland Road. Kristoffer Klaesson replaces Joel Robles in goal for the U21s, while Cody Drameh starts at right-back once more.

Darko Gyabi, Sonny Perkins and Mateo Joseph also feature for the Whites in the North East. Sean McGurk is the unfortunate man to drop out of the starting XI to make way for Gnonto, with the winger having to make do with a spot on the bench.
Leeds United U21s: Kristoffer Klaesson; Cody Drameh, Kris Moore, Morten Spender, James Debayo, Darko Gyabi, Charlie Allen, Mateo Joseph, Sonny Perkins, Wilfried Gnonto, Alfie McCalmont
