Leo Hjelde: Comfortable in his first appearance since appendix surgery. Nodded over the bar late in the game. 6
Junior Firpo: Steady in possession and looked to move the ball forward. Never troubled defensively. 6
Mateusz Klich: Captained the side and looked to pull the strings but he couldn’t find a hole through Crewe’s low block. 6
Darko Gyabi: Forced Dave Richards into a superb stop in the first half but struggled to find the space needed to really trouble Crewe in the second half. 6
Sonny Perkins: Spurned arguably Leeds’ best chance in the first half. Had a number of chances to break the deadlock but struggled in front of goal. 5
Wilfried Gnonto: Had some promising touches in the first half but was quiet after the break as he failed to make the desired impact. 5
Joseph Gelhardt: Struggled to get into the contest as he battled with Crewe’s low block. 5
Mateo Joseph: A quiet night for the striker. His night was summed up by the penalty he missed in the shootout. 5
