Leeds United U21 ratings as Summerville and Joseph among those to shine in Norwich draw

Harry Christy: Produced a couple of fine saves in his first competitive outing of the season. Not a lot he could have done to prevent either goal. 6

Cody Drameh: Looked to get forward well down the right edge and got the ball into the area. Would have had an assist if Mateo Joseph hadn’t have strayed offside. 7

Keenan Carole: A busy effort down the left. He held his own on the left and combined well with Summerville at times. 6

Jeremiah Mullen: Produced a superb tackle in the area to deny Tony Springett in the first half. 7

Leo Hjelde: Seemed to handle everything Norwich threw at him in a steady performance at centre-half. 6

Adam Forshaw: Used the game to pick up some much-needed minutes and had some smart touches before being replaced at half-time. 7

Sam Greenwood: Had a few quality moments on the ball in the middle of the park and got stuck in on his return to the under-21s side. 7

Sonny Perkins: Busy down the right flank. Had some tidy touches on the ball and took his chance to score very well. 7

Mateusz Klich: Captained the Whites in the second half and constantly looked to create. He’d rather be playing first-team but looked the part nevertheless. 7

Crysencio Summerville: Had the beating of Ben Watt all day and had defenders panicking when he cut inside off his flank. Set up Perkins with a perfectly weighted throughball. 8

Mateo Joseph: Scored Leeds’ first to build on the four he scored last time out against Derby County. Never stopped running throughout and came close to another in the second half. 7

Subs

Darko Gyabi: Another classy performance in the middle. He looked the part on the ball and forced the Norwich keeper into a fine save. 6

Kris Moore: Entered the fray late in the contest and couldn’t make much of an impact. 6

Charlie Allen: Couldn’t make too much of an impact after replacing Sonny Perkins in the second half. 6

Subs not used: Will Brook, Jack Jenkins.
