Harry Christy: Had a couple of shaky moments throughout the first half but didn’t have too much to do. 6
Harvey Sutcliffe: Put in a couple of strong tackles but gave the ball away a couple of times, too. He was replaced in the second half by Sean McGurk. 6
Keenan Carole: Got forward well and provided the assist for Perkins’ first. Struggled when the going got tough, though. 6

Jeremiah Mullen: Worked hard at Bodymoor Heath but showed his class with a couple of smart moments defensively. He was replaced in the second half after a nasty clash of heads. 7
Kris Moore: Didn’t always use the ball wisely in the first half but recovered well in the second. 6
Jack Jenkins: Busy throughout but proved sloppy in possession at times. 6
Charlie Allen: Posed questions with his play in the number 10 role and looked composed at times. 7
Archie Gray: Cut an isolated figure and couldn’t really make much of an impact on the game. Spent time at right-back in the second half. 6
Darko Gyabi: Caught on the ball a couple of times but looked to make things happen and showed his ability to win a penalty in the first half. 7
Sonny Perkins: Took his goals very well. Found success when he picked up possession in the pocket and looked such a danger. Leeds’ best. 8
Mateo Joseph: Pressed very well and asked questions of Villa’s defenders with his energy. But he missed a penalty and struggled in front of goal. Not his night. 6
Subs
James Debayo (Mullen 57): Steady away after replacing Mullen in the second half. 6
Sean McGurk (Sutcliffe 68): Looked to poke holes in the Villa line, but fluffed his lines in front of goal. 6
Alfie McCalmont (Jenkins 78): Had a few tidy touches and the 12 minutes of added time meant he could impose himself on the game. 6
Amari Miller (Allen 90): Arrived in the game too late to make an impact. N/A
Subs not used: Will Brook.
