Leeds United transfer rumours with Tyler Adams £25m interest and Rangers bid rejected

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours.

Adams interest

Tyler Adams is one of a number of first-team stars expected to leave the Whites this summer following the club's relegation to the Championship. Signed as a replacement for Kalvin Phillips, the USA international impressed despite the team's struggles in his debut Premier League season.

Adams was absent for Leeds' run-in after undergoing surgery on a hamstring injury suffered in the victory over Wolves in March. Former head coach Javi Gracia later admitted the setback for the 24-year-old was a 'big blow' to the team's chances of pulling clear of danger.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are among the clubs recently credited with an interest in the former RB Leipzig star. Now, the Daily Mail suggest Brighton are considering testing Leeds' resolve with a £25 million offer.

The report outlines Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest have also submitted enquiries amid rumours over a potential relegation release clause. The Seagulls could view Adams as a potential replacement for Moises Caicedo, with the Ecuador international linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Cresswell bid rejected

Charlie Cresswell is currently on international duty with England under-21s, having enjoyed an impressive campaign at Millwall. The 20-year-old made 30 appearances during his loan spell in the capital, although his season was curtailed after an aerial duel with Daryl Dike resulted in a fractured eye socket.

The young centre-back could be in line to feature for the Whites this season, with a year in the second tier already under his belt. However, Cresswell is reportedly attracting attention from elsewhere with Football League World claiming Rangers have seen an opening offer turned down.

The undisclosed bid was swiftly turned down for the defender who has two years to run on his contract at Elland Road.
