A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Friday, May 19.
Llorente set for Leeds United return
Corriere dello Sport claim AS Roma have decided not to sign Diego Llorente on a permanent deal this summer, despite conflicting reports from elsewhere. Earlier this month, reports suggested the Serie A side were keen on signing the Spanish defender on a permanent deal, but were hoping to negotiate a lower price with Leeds.
Now, the latest report claims Jose Mourinho's side are tying up a deal for Evan N’Dicka as a replacement. The French defender is reportedly set to sign a five-year deal worth €2m a year to move to Rome.
The Whites are reportedly asking for €18million for Llorente this summer but Roma don't feel this is good value for money according to the report.
Leeds in race to sign Branco van den Boomen
Turkish media outlet Takvim claims Leeds United and Aston Villa are among a number of clubs hoping to sign Toulouse’s Branco van den Boomen. The central midfielder has six goals and registered 13 assists from 38 games this season.
The report claims Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will face competition from the two Premier League sides who hope to sign him in the summer. The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer, but Fenerbahçe are hoping to get ahead of those interested sides by offering a three-year deal worth €2m per season
It also claims Van Den Boomen favours a move to Turkey.
