Leeds United transfer rumours as Whites target set to become one of the highest earners in the MLS

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Thursday, February 15.

Driussi

Leeds target Sebastian Driussi is set to become one of the highest earners in Major League Soccer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Driussi was subject to interest from Leeds in November but no deal materialised for the Argentinian forward in January. The Whites instead opted to sign Georginio Rutter from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim for a club record fee.

The Austin FC forward scored 25 goals in 37 appearances in the MLS last season and pipped Philadelphia Union's Daniel Gazdag (24 goals) and Nashville SC's Hany Mukhtar (23) to the golden boot award.

And now Driussi looks set to be rewarded for his stellar form by being handed a new contract by Austin FC. Romano has claimed that the 27-year-old is close to agreeing a new deal, which will make him one of the best paid players in the United States.

Romano tweeted: "Austin FC are closing in on a new deal with Argentine star Sebastian Driussi through to 2026.

"Proposal would make Driussi one of the highest paid players in the MLS - as both sides are confident a deal will get done season."

Lang

Everton are reportedly plotting a summer move for Club Brugge forward Noa Lang should Sean Dyche's side avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Italian outlet Calciomercato have stated that AC Milan are 'monitoring' Lang's situation along with Everton. The ex-Ajax man has long been linked with a move to Elland Road, with those reports resurfacing once again in the summer.

Lang has remained at Club Brugge despite speculation surrounding his future and has bagged seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Belgian outfit this season.

Everton's chances of landing the Dutchman will rely heavily on whether or not they secure their Premier League status.

The Toffees are currently fighting relegation and sit 18th place and one-point behind Leeds heading into the Whites' crucial clash at Goodison Park on Saturday.
