A round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, 27 September.
Whites 'in the race' to sign Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic
Italian media outlet CalcioMercato claim Chelsea would be willing to accept an offer in the region of £31.5m for Christian Pulisic. Leeds United are one of the clubs mentioned in the report, with the 24-year-old winger struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge.
Juventus, former club Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United are all linked with the American international. Pulisic made the £58million move to the Blues in 2019 and Jesse Marsch is a big fan.
Speaking earlier this summer, he said: "Christian [Pulisic] is a big, big talent, the best in our country. The expectations on him are high, he has met a lot of those expectations. But with his talent, people are demanding more.
"Every time I’ve coached against him, he’s scored. I don’t have any negative criticisms. I would love to work with him, whether it is with the national team in the distant future. He has created a lot of firsts for American players.”

Cody Gakpo remains on Leeds United radar
Sky Sports journalist Tim Thornton claims Leeds United and PSV still have a good relationship, despite a move for Cody Gakpo not coming to fruition in the summer transfer window. Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani tweeted that the club were hopeful of securing a deal on Deadline Day, but they fall short in their pursuit of the Dutch international.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Thornton recalls a chat with Victor Orta outside of Elland Road, the day after Deadline Day. He said: “I had a chat with him in the early hours of the next morning after the deadline day as he was leaving Elland Road.
“He was sort of saying that they’ve still got a good relationship with PSV and that they were still looking at that one.”
