Leeds United 'leapfrog' Premier League rival for Coventry star Viktor Gyokeres
Leeds United now reportedly lead the race to sign Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres having 'leapfrogged' Premier League rivals Everton for the star's signature.
According to Football Insider, Fulham are another party interested in the Swedish international and are prepared to compete with Leeds for Gyokeres but the Toffees are 'falling behind' the pair of clubs.

The Championship frontman has 18 goals and eight assists in the league this season, along with another goal in the FA Cup bringing the 24-year-old's tally to 19 in all competitions.
While his contract with Coventry is set to expire in 2024, and the Sky Blues are desperate to get him on a new deal, that outcome begins to seem increasingly unlikely as further interest gathers from top-flight teams.
Leeds United 'in the market' for £87.5m La Liga star
Leeds United are reportedly going after Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili in the summer transfer window despite the Georgian's release clause coming in at a staggering £87.5m.
The Whites are alone in their interest of the 22-year-old however, as Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City are all parties looking at the shot-stopper according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
But it's believed that Valencia might have to sell Mamardashvili for a cut price of £35m due to the financial troubles they've recently found themselves in.
With Leeds' current goalkeeper Illan Meslier making it fairly clear he's looking to leave the club at the end of the season, this could be a perfect time for the Whites to drop back into the market for a goalkeeper.
