Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip for Wednesday, March 15.
Leeds United in 'advanced talks' to sign Barcelona star
Leeds United are the club in the 'most advanced' talks to sign Barcelona star Ilias Akhomach, who will not renew his contract with the La Liga side, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
They report that Javi Gracia's side are currently in negotiations with Ilias and that although the 18-year-old is also being eyed by other Premier League teams, the teenager is angling towards a move to Elland Road. It is understood that the Barca star's representatives are adamant that the Whites will avoid relegation to the Championship this season, but that they will re-visit negotiations should the worst happen.

Due to Illias' contract expiring at the end of the season and the starlet showing no intention of agreeing to a new deal with Barcelona, Leeds will be able to sign him as a free agent in the summer transfer window. The forward is highly rated by those within the Camp Nou and came through the academy alongside Gavi, a regular starter under Xavi this term.
Juventus 'interested' in Wilfried Gnonto
Elsewhere, Italian outlet Calciomercato (via TeamTalk) are reporting that Juventus are lining up a move for Leeds star Wilfried Gnonto.
Gnonto is a product of the Inter Milan academy and now it seems that Serie A rivals Juventus are looking to tempt him back to Italy. It is thought that the Turin side are considering a proposal that would reduce the sum needed for the Whites to sign Weston McKennie on a permanent basis at the end of his loan deal by including Gnonto as part of a player-plus-cash move.
Leeds of course will not be looking to part ways with the teenager given his vast potential and the glimpses of quality he has shown following his arrival from Zurich in the summer. It would take a sizeable offer for the Whites to even think about sanctioning a move for Gnonto, especially when considering that they have already negotiated and agreed an optional fee for McKennie in the summer transfer window.
