Tottenham 'focus' on other targets as Arsenal become favourites to sign Raphinha
Despite many months of looking like he was destined to move to Barcelona, Raphinha has had increased interest from North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham. Whilst Barcelona's interest has been very public, the Catalan club have yet to make a bid and any move for the Brazilian seems unlikely now that Ousmane Dembele appears set to sign a new contract.
That has made the chances of the Premier League rivals being able to attract Raphinha more likely and it seems that Arsenal are leading the race. Reports broke on Saturday afternoon that the Gunners were planning to ramp up talks with Leeds next week, with belief that the player was keen to join Mikel Arteta's side.
With Arsenal edging ahead in the race, it appears that Spurs will not join the bidding, instead focusing on the signing of Richarlison from Everton.
Leeds believe there is 'hope' to sign Charles De Ketelaere despite reports of rejection from the player
Journalist and transfer guru broke the news of Leeds' interest in Club Brugges attacker, Charles De Ketelaere last week and there have been rumours that Leeds are prepared to meet the player's asking price, whilst other suitors, AC Milan have set their top price €10 million lower than the Whites. However, Belgian journalist, Alexandre Braeckman wrote that the player would reject Leeds and had already signified that he was not interested in moving to Elland Road.
However, it was reported in various places on Saturday that Leeds would ramp up their interest and make a bid for the player next week, with belief that a deal could be done. Braeckman subsequently wrote on Twitter, "Leeds is pushing, if they are, they have to believe there's hope despite a first 'no' from De Ketelaere".
