Winger targeted by newly promoted club
Crysencio Summerville made his Premier League debut with Leeds United in just the fifth game of the season in 21/22. However, rather than kicking on and making many appearances, he found game-time hard to come by and wanted a loan from the club in January, amid interest from Hamburg.
Leeds did not grant the move but according to the Athletic, he could leave this summer as he seeks more opportunities to play. Both newly promoted Nottingham Forest, and the Championship's Sheffield United both have an interest in the player. It seems likely that Leeds would want to agree a new contract with the young Dutchman before sanctioning a loan though, as he would be available on a free transfer next summer otherwise.
Goalkeeper set to leave club after failed loan
When Kiko Casilla arrived at Leeds United, he was clearly expected to be the number one for a number of years, as the Whites had brought the Spaniard over from Real Madrid. However, poor form, as well as a ban for being found guilty of racially abusing Charlton's Jonathan Leko saw Casilla lose his place in the team to Illan Meslier.
He was unable to win his place back and subsequently went on loan to Elche in La Liga but no permanent deal was forthcoming. Despite Casilla's contract at Elland Road running for another season, the Athletic report that Leeds will 'find a way to move him on this summer.' There appears to be an acceptance on all sides that a fresh start would be the best way forward.
