Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, 28 August.
Bournemouth looking hijack Wilfried Gnonto deal
Leeds United’s Premier League rivals Bournemouth are ready to hijack their deal for FC Zurich striker Wilfried Gnonto, according to Football Insider.
Jesse Marsch’s side are understood to have agreed personal terms with the Italian and are in talks with the Swiss club over a fee for the youngster.

However, the Cherries could hijack that deal after their technical director Richard Hughes attended Zurich’s Europa League qualifier at Hearts on Thursday to assess Gnoto in person.
The 18-year-old scored ten goals and provided five assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for the Swiss outfit last season and looks set to be headed for the Premier League.
Leeds youngster subject to interest from Premier League champions
Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Leeds starlet Archie Gray, who started on the bench for the Whites’ Premier League opener against Wolves three weeks ago.
According to the Athletic, the 16-year-old is being monitored by the Premier League champions, although he is yet to make his senior debut for Jesse Marsch’s side.
It is understood, however, that the attacking midfielder would have been in Leeds’ squad for their 3-1 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday had he not picked up a virus that saw Marsch opt to not risk him.
Leeds given Hee-Chan Hwang boost
Wolves forward and Leeds transfer target Hee-Chan Hwang could be allowed to leave Molineux this summer if the price is right, according to TEAMTalk.
The South Korean saw his loan move from RB Leipzig made permanent as recently as January but the 26-year-old could be deemed surplus to requirements by Bruno Lage.
A move for the attacker from the Whites would see manager Jesse Marsch reunite with Hwang for the third time, having managed him at both RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig.
