Leeds United transfer rumours as Raphinha reportedly 'happy' to swap Whites for Barcelona

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 24 March.

Raphinha reportedly 'happy' to join Barcelona

Leeds United star Raphinha would be 'happy' to join Spanish giants Barcelona, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

He has also claimed talks are already underway with Raphinha's agent Deco, who represented Barcelona during his playing days.

Despite the reported interest, Romano has insisted there have been no talks with Leeds over a deal for a player who has lit up Elland Road with his flair since joining in 2020.

Leeds reportedly show interest in Turkish goalkeeper

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Leeds United have shown interest in Trabzonspor goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır.

The 24-year-old has been with the Turkish top tier side since 2014 and has made 149 appearances for the club.

In the report, Sevilla and Newcastle United are also named as clubs who the Turkey international has been on the radar of.

Illan Meslier currently holds the position of first-choice goalkeeper at Elland Road and the Whites also have Kristoffer Klaesson on the books, although he has played the bulk of his minutes at Leeds with the under-23s.

Former Leeds prospect potentially on move again

Former Leeds United prospect Olly Casey could potentially be on the move again this summer, as LancsLive have insisted he could leave Blackpool on a permanent basis if the right opportunity arises.

The defender was handed his senior debut by former Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa and shone alongside Charlie Cresswell in the heart of the under-23s defence at Thorp Arch.

He joined Championship side Blackpool on a permanent basis last summer but has struggled for game time and was reportedly made available for loan in January.

The report claims it is likely he could head out on loan this summer but also mentions the possibility of a permanent move, which would end his stay with the Seasiders after just one season.
