A round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, June 6.
Nottingham Forest target Leeds United midfielder
The Mail claims Nottingham Forest are about to step up their pursuit of Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams after the Whites were relegated from the Premier League. The report claims the Tricky Trees are hoping to streamline their squad with the arrival of the United States international this summer.
Steve Cooper's side signed 30 players last year but have released six players including Jesse Lingard and Andre Ayew. The report claims Adams' agent has met with potential clubs and remains one of a number of high-profile players who could leave Leeds this summer.
Fellow United States international Brenden Aaronson could also leave Elland Road this summer with a release clause reportedly inserted into his contract.
Steven Gerrard tipped to handle Leeds United pressure
Former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton believes Steven Gerrard will be able to handle the pressure at Leeds United if given the job. He told Football Insider: "I think he will feel that he is more than capable of doing that. Do I think he can?
"Of course. This is a guy that now has a little bit of experience, has been at a big club with the pressure and everything that comes with it.
“Aston Villa are a massive football club, that did not quite work out. Leeds are a huge football team and you would like to think that if they can hold on to most of their players they will have an opportunity to come back up.
“It is relentless down there so it will be difficult but it is probably something he will feel he can go and do so I am sure he is hungry to get back in.“
