Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Friday, August 5.
Leeds 'rivalling' Newcastle for explosive forward
Leeds have reportedly joined a list of clubs interested in Marseille forward Bamba Dieng. According to 90min, the Whites are interested in Dieng, along with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Everton, Wolves, Crystal Palace and West Ham United.
The Senegal international reportedly turned down moves to Newcastle and West Ham in January, choosing to stay with Marseille. However, opportunities for the 22-year-old have been limited during pre-season.
L'Equipe even reported earlier this week that tensions between Marseille's new head coach Igor Tudor and some players, including Dieng, even reached a point where they were exiled from training.
The forward, who also has interest from Spain and Germany, scored seven goals in 25 games for the Ligue 1 club last season.
Nottingham Forest open talks with Leeds-linked striker
Nottingham Forest have reportedly opened talks with Che Adams. The striker, who has been linked with a move to Leeds this summer, is set to leave Southampton.
According to Football Insider, newly-promoted Nottingham Forest have already 'started negotiations' with Southampton over a potential deal for Adams. The Scotsman scored seven goals in 30 Premier League appearances last season.
The 26-year-old was strongly linked with the Whites in January 2020, but a deal never materialised. Reports have stated that Adams may be allowed to leave the Saints this summer, having possibly fallen down the pecking order due to the arrival of Sekou Mara.
