Leeds United transfer rumours as Liverpool rival Whites for right back

Liverpool rival Whites for right back

Leeds United have been linked to Aberdeen's teenage right back, Calvin Ramsay for several months. The youngster is seen as one of the elite teenagers in his position and he has played 22 times in the SPFL this season, weighing in with a goal and five assists.

However, the Sun have reported that Leeds will have a rival for the young Scot's signature, in the shape of Liverpool. The title chasers are said to see Ramsay as a long term option to back up Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Pundit claims Leeds will be 'lucky' to get £50million for Raphinha

Whether or not Leeds can hang on to Raphinha appears set to be the transfer saga of the summer. Barcelona are strongly linked, despite President, Joan Laporta stating that the club would not make a 'superstar' signing this summer.

Danny Mills has stated that this does not mean the Catalan club won't sign Raphinha. Instead, that they don't see the Brazilian as a 'superstar' and won't pay the fee associated with one:

"As far as Barcelona superstar signings go, he certainly would not be anywhere near that. I’m sure there will be Premier League clubs chasing his signature and maybe some European clubs.

"But until they come in with some firm bids, we’re talking £50million-plus. There’s probably better value for money out there at the moment. You can probably get someone a little bit more proven for £50million."

Journalist tips several players to exit Elland Road for good

This summer could see some major changes to the first-team squad at Elland Road after a quiet summer in 21/22. However, before Leeds bring some players in, there are a number of players who don't have futures at the club who they will need to negotiate exits for.

Kiko Casilla and Lauren de Bock are players expected to leave but journalist Pete O'Rourke has added Ian Poveda to that list. He stated that Leeds do not see a 'long-term future' at the club for the winger.
