Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Monday, June 27.
Liverpool ‘expected’ to launch bid for Leeds target
As Raphinha continues to be linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, Leeds will be establishing a contingency plan to cover for him if he leaves. Porto winger Otavio has been identified as a potential option but the Portuguese giants reportedly rejected a £26m bid from the Whites last week.
Liverpool have also earmarked the 27-year-old as a potential new recruit this summer and, as per the Mirror, there is an expectation that the Reds will launch a bid for the wideman. An offer of £34m from Jurgen Klopp’s side is what has been reported but Porto may hold out for £38m which was their initial valuation of their star man.
Experienced goalkeeping back-up still on Leeds radar
While everyone at Leeds is more than happy with Illan Meslier as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, there is a real lack of experience in the goalkeeping department. The Frenchman is only 22 years old and his back up, Kristoffer Klaesson, is just one year his junior.

According to the Daily Mail, (25/06, p110), Jesse Marsch wants to add an older head to his goalkeeping ranks. Previously linked Ben Foster was mentioned as the primary target to fill that void after his contract expired at Watford following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.
Raphinha’s holiday snap sends rumour mill wild
Like many of his peers and colleagues, Raphinha is enjoying some time away from football ahead of the return to pre-season. The 25-year-old is in Ibiza with his fiancée and a photo he taken has sent fans of certain clubs into overdrive.
The image on Raphinha’s Instagram story showed him and Deco in the same venue on a night out which has only further increased talk of his potential departure from Leeds. The former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder is his agent and was the man who was spearheading talks with the Spanish giants over a possible deal.
With both clearly enjoying their time off with their respective partners, it is hard to imagine they will have been spending too much time talking about transfers.
