Chelsea set to revisit interest in ex-Leeds United winger Raphinha

Chelsea are set to revisit their interest in former Leeds United winger Raphinha in the summer, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

The Blues missed out on Raphinha last summer as the Brazilian international made his intentions clear that Barcelona was his preferred destination.

His agent Deco is reportedly aware of Chelsea's interest but Raphinha is still expected to remain at the Camp Nou next season.

Raphinha has endured a mixed experience at Barcelona, with his future becoming a subject of speculation in January following his disappointing start to life at the club.

However, the 26-year-old has still racked up nine goals and nine assists in 40 games across all competitions, including seven goals and five assists since the turn of the year.

Kevin Nolan makes David Moyes Leeds United claim amid West Ham uncertainty

Kevin Nolan says David Moyes would've been a contender for the Leeds United job had he been available when Jesse Marsch was sacked in February.

Moyes is under pressure at the London Stadium with the Hammers embroiled in the relegation battle. The Scotsman guided West Ham to the semi-finals of the Europa League last season, and finished sixth and seventh respectively in his last two campaigns.

However, West Ham are firmly in the relegation picture, which has led to reports that Moyes' job is under threat. His assistant Kevin Nolan insists that David Sullivan is willing to stick with Moyes, and claims that he would've had plenty of options had he been out of a job earlier this season.

Nolan told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport: “David Sullivan is someone who has always backed his man,” said Nolan. “He has always thought ‘you know what, I am going to give him the opportunity because he has got us to this position and give him the chance to get us out’.

“If David Moyes becomes available, in the last six or seven weeks ago, would he be up for the Leeds job? Would he be up for every other job that becomes available to keep everyone in the Premier League?

“He (West Ham co-owner) has looked at it and gone ‘no, I have to back my guy’ – I always feel that you have got the support.”
