Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, 8 May 2022.
Brownhill interest
Leeds United are reportedly interested in a summer move for Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill but face stiff competition from elsewhere. That is according to 90min.com, via TeamTalk who claim that West Ham United are also in the race and are ready to firm up their interest with a concrete bid in the upcoming window.
Brownhill has established himself as a key player for Burnley since his move from Bristol City in 2020 and is battling for Premier League survival against Leeds in the final four matches of the season. Any move from Leeds is likely to depend on the division they are in come August, particularly with West Ham’s apparent interest.
Raphinha could ‘force’ Barcelona move
Leeds United winger Raphinha could force through a move to Barcelona this summer as the Catalan outfit get set to step up their interest. That is according to Sport, who claim that while the Brazilian’s primary focus is to keep Leeds in the Premier League, he could push the hierarchy at Elland Road to accept a bid that comes their way from Barcelona regardless of whether they stay up.
