Premier League duo latest to enter race for Leeds United-linked Ben Brereton Diaz
Premier League duo Everton and AFC Bournemouth have entered the race to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz, according to The Guardian.
The forward has been linked with a move to Leeds United this summer, as Jesse Marsch and his recruitment team continue to explore Charles De Ketelaere alternatives. There is plenty of competition for Brereton Diaz, with Ligue 1 side Nice reportedly lodging an £8.5 million bid for the 23-year-old.
West Ham United have also looked at the Chile international this summer, although are unlikely to follow up on their initial interest, according to the report.
Whites' '£3million bid' for Birmingham City's George Hall rejected
According to Football Insider, Leeds have made an approach to sign 18-year-old attacking midfielder George Hall. The report claims Birmingham City have rejected the Whites' advances with just under a fortnight until the transfer window closes.
The bid is said to amount to £3million with add-ons taken into account. The Blues have integrated Hall into the first team this season and he's responded well with a goal against Watford in the 1-1 draw in midweek.
Hall has now made four Championship appearances - two of those coming last season - whilst also playing 11 times for the Under 23s last term, grabbing three goals. The Birmingham youngster also notched a further three goals and two assists for the Under 18s - form that warranted a call-up to England's Under 18 side.
Leeds would need to break transfer record to sign Ismaila Sarr
The Evening Standard claims Watford are holding out for a bid in the region of £30million for wantaway winger, Ismaila Sarr. Crystal Palace have expressed an interested in the 24-year-old winger, who has also been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna claimed that Leeds United were in advanced talks to sign the Senegalese international, but as of yet, there's been no official bid. Watford are bracing for a bid from the Eagles, but the Whites have not shown their hand yet.
