Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Thursday, 7 July 2022.
Leeds set Barca deadline
Leeds United have set Barcelona a deadline of today to present their latest offer for Raphinha. That is according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who claims that Barcelona are no closer to a full agreement and Leeds want the Brazilian’s future sorted quickly.
Raphinha is currently the only Leeds player not yet back for pre-season with speculation ongoing over a departure. Chelsea are the only club to have had a bid accepted, but Raphinha is holding out for Barcelona, who are still struggling to meet Leeds’ asking price.
Newcastle target Harrison alternative
Newcastle United have contacted Everton over a potential £35 million deal for Anthony Gordon, according to Mike McGrath of the Telegraph. The Magpies are determined to bring in a new wide man this summer and are also keen on Leeds United's Jack Harrison, though a move for Gordon could ensure the 25-year-old remains at Elland Road.

Newcastle were reportedly ready to trigger Harrison’s relegation release clause had Leeds gone down, but the two clubs are now apart in valuation after the Whites stayed up. There has not been any indication as to whether Everton will accept Newcastle’s bid for Gordon, with talks at an early stage.
Leeds eye Tymon
Leeds United have reportedly joined the race for Stoke City left back Josh Tymon, according to Football Insider. The Whites are said to be battling Rangers and Norwich City for the signature of Tymon, who could cost in the region of £6 million.
Leeds have so far had no links to any other left back so far this summer, though with Leif Davis linked with a move to Ipswich Town, that could force their hand. Tymon made 43 appearances for Stoke last season, scoring one goal and registering four assists.
