Leeds United transfer rumours as Adama Traore links resurface and Whites 'chase' Greek teenage attacker

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Saturday, January 7.

Adama Traore

Leeds have renewed their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, with Tottenham Hotspur also set to rival them, according to TEAMtalk.

Traore's contract at Wolves is set to expire at the end of the season, and he is available for a cut-price deal during the January transfer window.

The Spanish international was signed by Victor Orta during his spell at Middlesbrough, and the report suggests that Victor Orta is keen on bringing him to Elland Road.

However, conflicting reports claim that the 26-year-old could in fact be on his way to Serie A leaders Napoli. Traore has recently been in talks with the Italian club, and journalist Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Traore is open to discuss a pre-contract with Gli Azzurri.

Traore has made 18 appearances for Wolves across all competitions, although he has only completed the full 90 minutes on two occasions.

Giannis Konstantelias

Leeds are set to battle it out with a number of Premier League clubs in the race to sign PAOK winger Giannis Konstantelias, according to the Evening Standard.

Manchester City, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Arsenal are reportedly among those tracking the 19-year-old along with Leeds, while PSV Eindhoven and Valencia are also interested.

Konstantelias, who is tipped to make his Greece debut in March, previously had a trial with Barcelona, who failed to agree on a €1million deal.

He is valued at £10 million, and any club that signs Konstantelias in January is expected to loan him back out to PAOK until the end of the season.

The teenager has enjoyed a breakthrough season at PAOK this term - registering four assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.

Milos Kerkez

Leeds could be left frustrated in their attempts to sign Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from AZ Alkmaar this month.

The Whites are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in the 19-year-old, who only joined AZ from AC Milan in January 2022.

Sky Sports claim Kerkez is in no rush to leave AZ in January, as he eyes the possibility of lifting the Eredivisie, and qualifying for the Champions League.

AZ are currently fourth in the Dutch top-flight, and trail league leaders Feyenoord by just four points. Leeds, Leicester City and AFC Bournemouth are reportedly monitoring the situation around Kerkez.

The teenager has also attracted interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Lazio. However, AC Milan are understood to have a clause that gives them first refusal on a bid to re-sign him.

Kerkez, who is valued at £17.75 million, is not keen on a return to the San Siro. He has played in all 14 of AZ's Eredivisie fixtures this season, scoring two goals in the process.

He also played a crucial role in helping them top their group in the UEFA Europa Conference League, with one goal and six assists across 12 outings in the qualifiers and group stage.
