Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Saturday, 7 May 2022.
Kent race
Leeds United are reportedly among a host of Premier League clubs keen on signing Rangers star Ryan Kent this summer. That is according to 90min.com, via the Boot Room, who claim that Fulham, Everton and Wolves are all also keen on the 25-year-old.
Kent has just one year left to run on his current deal at Ibrox, but has played an instrumental role in Rangers’ success this season, as they have reached both the Europa League and Scottish Cup final. Leeds have long been linked with a move for Kent but have never been able to get a deal done, and it is likely that his potential arrival will depend on the league the Whites find themselves in next season.
Rooney on Ebiowei
Derby County manager Wayne Rooney has revealed that in demand winger Malcom Ebiowei wants to stay at the club despite interest from elsewhere. Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and RB Leipzig are all reportedly keen on a summer deal for the 18-year-old.

Ebiowei is out of contract with the Rams this summer and given the club’s ongoing ownership issues, his future remains up in the air despite having netted his first senior goal last weekend. Via quotes from Football League World, Rooney confirmed the youngster’s intention to remain at Derby.
He said: "He wants to stay. He knows the trust and responsibility we've put to him. It's important he's in the right hands and gets the right coaching."
Gibbs-White interest
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage is set to hand Morgan Gibbs-White a chance to impress in pre-season despite interest from Leeds United, Fulham and Burnley. Gibbs-White has spent the season on loan Sheffield United where he has impressed, netting 10 goals and providing eight assists.
But according to TeamTalk, Wolves are set to turn down interest from elsewhere in favour of giving him a chance to stake a claim for a first team place. The 22-year-old signed a new long term deal at Molineux before leaving on loan last summer.
