Here are the Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Friday, December 9.
Ex-Leeds United man calls for Patrick Bamford replacement in January
Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson has called upon his old club to find a Patrick Bamford replacement after the striker jetted out to Germany to have surgery on his groin.
While it's believed the procedure is just a minor one, it has meant that Bamford missed a large part of training throughout the winter break and also the club's training camp in Spain as they prepare to return on Boxing Day.
It also means another blot on the 29-year-old's injury record after only playing just over 400 minutes of Premier League football this season, starting just four times.

"It’s been too long," Robinson told MOT Leeds News. "It’s been 12 to 18 months now since he was playing regularly and scoring goals.
"He’s not the player he was two seasons ago because he’s not been available. And every time he keeps coming back, he keeps breaking down.
"To rely on him, it’s a big ask. Rodrigo, on the other hand, is playing as a number nine and he deserves every opportunity to play there.
"But again, this is another setback that shows they should’ve strengthened in that area in the last transfer window.
"January is coming around quickly and if Patrick’s going to have more surgery now, you can’t rely on him being fully fit between now and the end of the season.
"Personally, I don’t think you can roll to the end of the season with Rodrigo as the only striker. It’s an area they have to address and it’s been glaringly obvious for the last three windows."
Leeds United's core stars - Jesse Marsch's most used players so far this season
With the January transfer window coming up, there maybe some decisions to make regarding outgoings for Leeds United.
Jesse Marsch has stuck to a pretty settled group of players so far this season and so some players have played less minutes than they would've envisaged at the start of the campaign.
Given Leeds have one of the lowest budgets in the Premier League, the Whites may have to move a couple out in order to make some wriggle room in the market, should they choose to be active.
So, with that in mind, here is a look at how many minutes each member of the Leeds squad has played so far this term to decipher who could potentially be moving on.
Cody Gakpo admits Leeds United dilemma amid Manchester United transfer links
Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo has revealed that he has received no contact from Manchester United over a possible move to the Premier League - but admitted his dilemma over a move to Leeds United in the summer.
The attacker has lit up the World Cup with his dazzling displays for the Netherlands - scoring three goals in four games to help set-up a quarter-final against Argentina.
His scintillating form at the World Cup has come off the back of an impressive season for PSV, which has seen him notch 13 goals and 17 assists in 24 games across all competitions.
He was linked with a summer move to Man United, but that did not materialise and the 23-year-old, who also revealed that Leeds United made a move for him, admitted to panicking.
