Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, 23 August 2022.
Ben Brereton-Diaz update
Ben Brereton Diaz is 'unlikely' to sign a new contract at Blackburn Rovers amid speculation over his future, according to Sky Sports. Leeds United, Everton and West Ham have all been linked with a move for Brereton Diaz this summer, while Nice have also had a £10 million bid rejected.
The Chile international is out of contract next summer and will be free to negotiate with other clubs after the turn of the new year if he remains at Blackburn beyond the current transfer window and does not sign a new deal. Reports claim that Rovers have placed a £20 million asking price on his head.
Newcastle join Kean race
Newcastle United are reportedly alongside Leeds United in the race to sign Juventus striker Moise Keane, according to Jeunes Footeux. They claim Juventus are keen on parting ways with Kean before the end of the window, though a deal could be complicated.

Kean is currently on a two-year loan from PSG at the Italian side, who have an obligation to buy him for €28 million. Juventus would need to exercise that in order to sell him, but both Leeds and Newcastle are reluctant to pay more than €20 million for the 22-year-old.
Harrison bid
Leeds United have rejected a second bid from Newcastle United for winger Jack Harrison. That’s according to The Athletic, who claim the offer from Eddie Howe’s side was worth more than £20million.
Newcastle made their first move during pre-season, with the club identifying Harrison as someone who could offer plenty at St James’ Park. However, Leeds have no intention of letting the 25-year-old leave this summer and have knocked back a second bid from Newcastle.
