Championship football awaits Cody Drameh with Luton Town expected to win the race for Leeds United’s third-choice right-back. The 21-year-old turned heads in the second tier with Cardiff City last season and will hope to have the same impact at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters are seventh in the league table and only outside the play-off places on goal difference. Drameh will hope to play a big part in their final 19 matches of the season and push on for promotion to the Premier League.
Despite impressing Jesse Marsch in training and limited match time, the arrival of Rasmus Kristensen coupled with vice-captain Luke Ayling has made it virtually impossible for Drameh to get his foot in the first-team door. The head coach has repeatedly praised Drameh and admitted he should be playing more regularly, but has not been able to find space for him.

Cardiff, Preston North End, Swansea City and Copenhagen have all been credited with an interest in the full-back, but Rob Edwards’s play-off chasers, as first reported by Sky Sports, look to have sealed the deal.
Joe Gelhardt is also expected to move on loan to a second-tier outfit before deadline day, with Wigan Athletic and Sunderland understood to be awaiting his final decision.
