Jesse Marsch has made three changes to his Leeds United side to take on Brighton and Hove Albion at Elland Road this afternoon. The Whites need a result as the end of the season approaches and Marsch will be hoping the changes bring about three points.
Dan James drops out of the side following his red card against Chelsea last time out, of course. That creates the space for Joe Gelhardt to come back into the side. The youngster starts as a striker, with Rodrigo moving back into midfield in a formation that looks to be 4-2-3-1.
Junior Firpo starts at left-back after coming off the bench on Wednesday night. He replaces Pascal Struijk in the side, who struggled against the Blues. Mateusz Klich comes into starting XI, too.
Klich replaces the youngster Lewis Bate, who drops to the bench. There’s still no Patrick Bamford, who could now be looking at a comeback on the final game of the season next week at Brentford.
As expected, Jack Harrison and Raphinha have shaken off the knocks they picked up against Chelsea to start against Graham Potter’s side.
